New Forest Producers’ Dinner: At the Thatched Cottage we put a lot of emphasis on sourcing most of our ingredients from within the boundaries of the New Forest, allowing us to provide our guests with the freshest of ingredients. Now we would like to go one step forward and emphasize the importance of this effort in an evening entirely devoted to the producers of our special region. We will be putting together a six-course taster menu featuring the New Forest’s best ingredients in conjunction with a lively discussion amongst the producers themselves on the benefits of sourcing locally. Moreover guests will be encouraged to participate in the discussion through questions or insights of their own. This promises to be an evening that will not only excite the taste buds, but also stimulate the thought process.
Cost: £60
